Don’t let your internal struggles go unseen
The ‘Everyone Has a Story’ initiative has been developed in alignment with the national Mental Health Awareness month in October in an attempt to normalise that everyone has their own story and journey in life.
We aim to provide the platform and give people the courage to share their stories and provide support and guidance for others who may be facing similar challenges. We aim to connect people through their personal journeys and let people know that they are not alone, that there is nothing wrong with having tough times and that there is help out there.
Through the sharing of personal stories, we aim to break down the barriers and build common ground amongst our employees to reduce the stigma around mental illness.

In my career I’ve normally seen people and businesses just doing their own thing, own programs. The way this has been designed and delivered to bring everyone together reinforces the theme of working together, reaching out and helping each other. It’s not a weakness to talk about what you’re going through, and that is what underpins this entire initiative.
